“It is impossible to work with a definite sense of purpose and be depressed at the same time. Carefully planned work will motivate you to do more and worry less.” (Chandler)
That’s a pretty cool line but also quite a task.
What if say you don’t currently have a definite sense of purpose?
I’d argue that you do and it’s right in front of you.
Here’s the thing. Your definite sense of purpose need not be a grand and large vision.
That takes time andcontinue to develop and evolve.
Right now you perhaps have jig saw pieces of the puzzle that all have a role to play.
Got an essay due? That’s your mission
Got a competition coming up? That’s your mission.
Got an exam in a month or two? That’s your mission.
Applying yourself with a definite sense of purpose to even the task at hand can do wonders.
What’s a next ‘mission’ that you could apply an increased sense of purpose too?
