Turn the price into a system

“One of the best pieces of advice I’ve ever heard goes something like this: If you want success, figure out the price, then pay it. It sounds trivial and obvious, but if you unpack the idea it has extraordinary power.”

That one comes from Scott Adams, author of ‘How to fail at almost anything and still win big”.

I’ll give an example of this.

I set a goal to write 1000 blog entries within a single year.

Sounded awesome at the start line.

But I also had to ask. What’s the price I need to pay?

As in…what is the level of commitment in time and energy required?

1000 blogs ain’t gonna write themselves, nor is it going to happen in 24 hours.

So I figured out the price and then?

Turned that price into a system.

A system of daily commitment.

It’s up to you to decide if you are willing to pay the commitment price tag for what is most important to you.
