The Seeds + Fruits of your Degree

As you continue to surmount challenges and thrive in the pursuit of your degree got any questions you'd like to ask?

I found myself in a very fortunate situation with the author on the psychology of flow and world famous psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi.

I asked him if he had one piece of advice to share with students what would it be.

He said simply this....

"The seeds of learning can be bitter, yet the fruits are sweet."

Wow!

Lets put that through a woop.

Wish = to study the next section of the textbook

Outcome = I'll increase my understanding of the course

Obstacle = this section of the textbook is tedious ("bitter")

Plan = if this section is tedious, I'll chunk it into small 5 minute bite size pieces and play my favorite song as I take on each piece.
