The “5552” Technique

1. Start by tensing your muscles, especially from the shoulders up and then…

2. Relax. Let it go.

3. Then exhale and hold your breath for 2 seconds.

4. Breathe in for 5 seconds, then …

5. hold for five seconds…

6. then breath out for five seconds….

7. Then hold again for two seconds…

8. Then repeat.

Newmen says this technique should help to calm you.
