String em together

How you viewing exercise these days?

As something that you gotta do or something you wanna do?

As something that depletes your energy or something that increases it?

Finding a healthy relationship to even your own version of regularly movement can do wonders for your energy levels.

Check this out from Mcgonigal…

“If you tell yourself that you are too tired or don’t have the time to exercise, start thinking of exercise as something that restores, not drains, your energy and willpower.”

A mate of mine uses a trick of just doing one pressup. He’ll tell himself I’m just gonna do one pressup. It makes it easier for him to start and once started he’s on his way.

Give it a whirl (within reason)….as in no need to go all out on a first session but rather build it up.

Case in point…I’ve another mate who at the start of the year said he was gonna do 50 pushups a day.

Guess what?

After day three I ain’t heard anything about press-ups since!

The mate who takes the one pressup a day approach?

Still rocking it + doing way more than one at a time, even though that’s his MED – (minimal effective dose).

String em together like pearls in your potential.

Warmly,

Sean
