I'm quite a big fan of what author and speaker Eric Thomas (E.T) has to say about studies and performance.
Be warned! He holds no punches!
Let's take a brief look at a few of his lines...some of which might land...
"My greatest asset is I was homeless. So, I can't feel a whole lot of pain. I've already been alone. There's not a whole of hurt I can feel, on a little paper, on a little test."
Granted, this is his unique story just as we have our own...
Gotta love this from him:
"If you can look up, you can get up."
And this one ...straight talk style...
"Stop whining, start grinding."
Still not neat enough for ya?
How about this...
"Be stronger than your excuses."
Let's land on this one though:
"Information changes situations."
Think about how your own learning has already expanded your sense of self and world view...That has surely gotta count for something right?
Let's link that to your possibilities, which E.T says like this:
"Only those who risk going too far, can possibly find out how far one can go."
A question for you is "What could you do this year if you really believed in your vision?"
E.T says: "Everybody has a dream, but not everybody has a grind."
What is it going to take on a daily basis (for you) to take it to next levels in your learning?
p.s. I should have really said...E.T, PhD
