Mastery insights

What does the word 'Warrior' mean to you and what has it got to do with your potential?

Here is what Mark Divine says:

“I consider the term ‘warrior’ to have a broader, more figurative meaning as one who is committed to mastering himself or herself at all levels, who develops the courage to step up and do the right thing, all while serving his or her family, team, community, and, ultimately, humanity at large”.

Mark goes further to say that if you want to develop mastery “SEAL – worthy success” style then you’ll need to:

  • Have a non-negotiable personal code of values and purpose that keep you grounded and focused

  • Look always in front and be unwaivered never on your way to achievement

  • Do today what others put off so you can accomplish tomorrow what others can’t touch.

  • Rule out the ‘option quit’ from your vocabulary

  • Deconstruct things and rebuild them with creative adaptability.

  • Move always towards what you are aiming for.

  • Have a mindset of training for life such that mastery continues.

If you were to pick one of these to develop more, which one would it be?

Imagine you had it nailed consistently as part of your day. What would be possible?
