It can be very tempting to set a lot of goals at the same time. All that possibility imagined at once.
Yet here’s the rub.
The more goals you set and attempt to take on simultaneously the less likely you are to give 100% focus to all of em.
Might sound a bit counter intuitive but as Koch says, “Less is more.”
“The first discipline is to focus your finest efforts on the one or two goals that will make all the difference, instead of giving mediocre effort to dozens of goals. Execution starts with focus. Simply put, Discipline ..is about applying more energy against fewer goals because, when it comes to setting goals, the law of diminishing returns is as real as the law of gravity.” (MCCHESNEY, COVEY, HULING)
What are one or two goals of most meaning, value and significance to you right now?
Those goals that keep calling you?
Choose one or two at most and get to work…
