Hurtle with Enthusiasm

When I head back home each early morning from a training + deep work session the kids are just waking up.

When I open the door our three year old hurtles towards the door with that morning enthusiasm to greet.

He’s just woken up and he’s a keen one.

When I pick him up from school…?

He hurtles with that same enthusiasm to greet and says “I love school”!

Check this out from Emerson…

“Enthusiasm is one of the most powerful engines of success. When you do a thing, do it with all your might. Put your whole soul into it. Stamp it with your own personality. Be active, be energetic, be enthusiastic and faithful, and you will accomplish your object. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.”

This ain’t about ‘loving school’ nor being a 'kid' (though there is immense value in learning + being playful).

This is about that engine in you called enthusiasm.

What’s it gonna take to ignite it?

To hurtle with enthusiasm at the start of the day enthused

How about saying this.

“I love my potential”

“I’m super keen to use it”!
