Get off the Chair

At the time of writing this, I’ve gotten up and sat back down from my chair way more than 10 or 15 times throughout today.

When I’ve returned to the ‘task at hand’ it has been with intention and recommitment.

When I’ve recommitted and refocused my intention I’ve acknowledged that but have I have a party?

Of course not…

Check this…

“Every time you sit down to work, remind yourself: I am delaying gratification by doing this. I am passing the marshmallow test. I am earning what my ambition burns for. I am making an investment in myself instead of my ego. Give yourself a little credit for this choice, but not so much, because you’ve got to get back to the task at hand: practicing, working, improving.” (Holiday)

That’s really it for today, practice + work, + improve your own ‘craft’. Your own potential.

Then rest it up and then…?

May mean returning to you own ‘studio’ of potential frequently to refocus….that’s a great thing.

You want marshmallows? Get them in the shop (or leave em there).

You want potential…? Remember it’s always on hand and get’s better with practice, repeatedly.
