Imagine hanging out with geniuses for a half a day. Think what you could learn?
That happened to me recently (and it’s happened a lot).
It was a virtual genius hang out - listening to a superb coaching module taught by Michael Gelb entitled ‘Genius 101’ through the optimize.me coaching platform.
Michael is the author of ‘How to think like Leonardo da Vinci’ and ‘Innovate like Edison’ amongst other titles.
I was really inspired by his insights + his laughter and chuckles which are contagious.
In true Student of Potential style I connected with Michael and posed this question:
‘What message would you share to help ‘students’ develop their potential and possibilities more?’
Here is what Michael shared:
“Baby ducks learn to walk by imitating their mothers. Learning by imitation is fundamental to many species including humans. The good news for us, as adults, is that we can choose whom we wish to imitate. If we are interested in the balanced, full expression of our human potential then Leonardo da Vinci ( April 15, 1452-May 2, 1519) can serve as an unparalleled role model.
This year we celebrate the 500 year anniversary of the life and genius of Leonardo so it’s an auspicious time to study his life. Then make a “genius Dream Team” and study the lives of those you most admire.
You can find genius within arms reach of where you are. Just start looking and have fun with it!
You can starting building your own 'Genius Dream Team.'
p.s. when you google the word ‘Buona fortuna’ this is what comes up…. ‘buona fortuna. good luck! an expression of encouragement made to someone who is about to take part in a competition, sit an exam etc."
p.p.s imagine googling the word genius and your name coming up?!
p.p.p.s. – no need to google to confirm what you are capable of.
