Every morning when I hit the shower I pose a couple of set questions to myself internally around areas such as what I’m grateful for, who I love, what I’m inspired by. I’ve done this for years now and got the idea from Anthony Robbins.
I do this cos it’s a great way to get the thinking going towards action and repetition and ultimately continued and conjured potential.
Here’s how Emerson puts it…
“Sow a thought and you reap an action; sow an act and you reap a habit; sow a habit and you reap a character; sow a character and you reap a destiny.”
Let’s break it down.
What’s a favourable thought you could call on daily? E.g. might be an affirmation, a feel good memory, a future possibility.
What’s an action for today that will move you towards your potential?
What’s a habit this year that will move you towards your potential?
What’s a character trait you want to develop that will move you towards your potential?
What’s a key future result that provides signs that you are using your potential?
p.s. the beauty of this is you can do it anywhere, anytime. It’s just up to you.
