Just for a moment imagine that the next time you stepped into a study session you held an unwavering mindset. Imagine being so resolute and focused as you began to study. Imagine that level of certainty in your ability to commit, focus and concentrate somewhat akin to the words below:
“I am here for a purpose, and that purpose is to grow into a mountain, not to shrink to a grain of sand. Henceforth I will apply ALL efforts to become the highest mountain of all and I will strain my potential until it cries for mercy.” (Og Mandino)
Imagine completing a successful study session with the above sentiment still in mind.
Great stuff. Imagined? Good!
Repeat…. rest, reward, and then repeat some more! Your role is to continually define, discover and develop.
p.s If you do decide to go for the ‘straining your potential approach’…remember to ‘stretch’ first, ‘warm up, and warm down’! It does not need to be an all or nothing situation. Chip away day by day, be willing to play the long game, and before you know it’s not these words of potential you're pondering, but your very own.
