Do you know what you'll be doing 5 weeks from now on a thursday morning?
Check this excerpt from Scott Adams from the book ‘How to fail at almost anything:
“If you ask me today where I will be at 6:20 A.M. on a Saturday morning in the year 2017, I’ll tell you I will be at my desk finishing the artwork on some comics I drew earlier in the week.
That’s what I was doing last Saturday at that time and what I plan to do this Saturday as well.
I can’t recall the last time I woke up and looked at my options for what to do first. It’s always the same, at least for the first few hours of my day.”
The awesome thing about this reflection is the level of certainty with regards to where and when effort is put in.
You see Scott is not trying to predict any future outcomes. His main focus is the effort.
He has crystal clear clarity on particular parts of his time and day and totally rocks it.
Can you do the same?
p..s. it does not have to be 6.20 am on a Saturday at your desk but you get the picture.
